I love jersey. Can I just say that? I love it. This jersey maxi from ASOS is a new acquisition of mine and I’m wearing it all the time. It’s comfy, no one can see that you’re wearing a pair of battered tights (ha) and being a neutral you can combine it with a great variety of clothes.

You can dress a neutral maxi like this up or down too – the other day, I wore it with a fancy sequinned jacket, and I’ve also worn it with flat ankle boots.

I’m also going to profess my love for the H&M children’s section here for a moment, because that’s where I got this heart cardi. It’s actually a size ’8-10 Y’, would you believe? I may be petite, but damn!

I obviously wore this on Valentine’s Day first, ha. But yeah, if you are a smaller size, don’t forget the children’s section. You may have to wade through some things that could clearly never fit an adult body, or things that are clearly not suited to an adult look (in H&M they seem to have a thing for random pink cutesy appliqued things. I don’t.) but you can sometimes find some great bargains, even if maybe these hearts are pushing the ‘adult’ definition a little bit ;)

dress: asos petite / cardigan: h&m kids / belt: charity shop / shoes: h&m (2011)

p.s.: I should tuck in my vest a bit more carefully next time (see last photo). Live and learn.
